#1reason pages fail: missing basics, not missing genius
Google does not "watch" your website like a human. It reads raw HTML, top to bottom, in a fraction of a second — and in that fraction it decides what your page is about and whether it deserves attention. Here is exactly what it looks for, in order.
Every element on the left directly creates something on the right. Miss one, and Google fills the gap with a guess — or with your competitor.
The 10-second test (do it now)
1
Ctrl+U on your page. Search for <title>. Is it unique, 50–60 characters, keyword near the front?
2
Search "description". Missing? You just found free click-through rate lying on the floor.
3
Search "canonical" and "ld+json". Missing both? Your page is whispering to Google while competitors are speaking clearly.
Myth vs fact: "SEO takes months to see anything." Rankings take time — but fixing what Google reads takes minutes, and it is the foundation everything else compounds on.
