Today marks the Constitution Day, a significant day in India’s history where we attained freedom and India gained Sovereign and Republic status and power over its government. We are particularly grateful to Dr. Ambedkar and the committee members and all those who worked hard for this day. The Republic Day Parade is a highlight, showcasing the Indian military, our cultural diversity and the emergence of India as a new nation and leader in the world. The respect for India in the global arena has improved and India is seen as a superpower year by year. Schools celebrate Republic Day in a big way, with students giving speeches, entertainment, and cultural programs and activities. Let’s celebrate the birthday of the Republic of India together.
