The main challenge that I face in my everyday work as a digital marketer is being assigned tasks that are not directly related to my core responsibilities. Despite telling my seniors and the head of my department that I am skilled in various tasks such as content writing, Photoshop, Illustrator, and video editing, these tasks are often assigned to me in the middle of a work process. This takes away from my ability to focus on my main goal, which is to generate leads and promote the website.
These additional tasks not only affect my core work, but also my ability to reach my goals as a digital marketer. I feel that it is a mistake to accept and complete tasks that fall outside of my core responsibilities. I believe that it is important for digital marketers to focus on their core responsibilities in order to be successful in their job. By only completing tasks that fall within our core responsibilities, we can be more efficient and effective in our work.
